Detailed information about the internship program can be found in the STUDENT GUIDE, under the INTERNSHIP section, for the current academic year.
• The curricular internship is associated with 12 credits, in relation to 300 hours of presence in the company. The internship can be activated when at least 130 credits have been obtained and is carried out in the second semester of the third year or in the following months. The internship can be done in Italy or abroad.
• Even having already passed the free choice credits, it is possible to insert the internship in the study plan by going to the Segreteria and asking to enter the extra credits.
• The host institution can be a company, but also a public or private entity, a cooperative or an association. The host institution cannot be a University. It is not allowed to do an internship in a cmpany owned by a family member.
• There is no provision for the recognition of a work activity already performed.
• The working student, who wants to carry out the internship in his own company, must contact the person in charge of the internship procedures of the Collegio tirocini.digep@polito.it, to define the internship training project, which must be consistent with the course of study, and to activate it.

Gli studenti e le studentesse con disabilità o con Disturbi Specifici di Apprendimento (DSA), oltre alla segnalazione tramite procedura informatizzata, sono invitati a comunicare anche direttamente al/la docente titolare dell'insegnamento, con un preavviso non inferiore ad una settimana dall'avvio della sessione d'esame, gli strumenti compensativi concordati con l'Unità Special Needs, al fine di permettere al/la docente la declinazione più idonea in riferimento alla specifica tipologia di esame.

In addition to the message sent by the online system, students with disabilities or Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) are invited to directly inform the professor in charge of the course about the special arrangements for the exam that have been agreed with the Special Needs Unit. The professor has to be informed at least one week before the beginning of the examination session in order to provide students with the most suitable arrangements for each specific type of exam.
