Objectives of the course
The lessons are focused in the Design and selection of PE elements and structures. Active and reactive componend together with their dissipation methods woll bea analyzed in details.
Basic structures of control actuation will be described. Signal conditioning and measurements techinques will be described.
Expected skills
Design or selection capability of reactive components in PE.
Design capability in protection of static converter.
Actuation of the control loop: drivers and pusle circuits.
Signal conditioning.

Laboratories and/or exercises
Exercises are based on the definition and design of main elements in PE structures. Classroom and Labs Exercises are foreseen.

Revisions / Exam
Examination consist of multiple answer test and oral exam. Pass the test part is mandatory to acces the oral one.
