Objectives of the course
This course gives the students theoretical and practical tools to understand and to study electrical circuits.
Syllabus
- Generality: circuits with concentrated parameters. Reference directions. Kirchhoff laws.

- Resistive components: one-door elements: linear and non-linear resistors; diodes, independent generators.

Mass and/or parallel connection of resistive bipole.

One or many-doors elements: dependent generators, ideal transformer, ideal operational booster, double resistive bipoles.

- Analysis of resistive ciruits: nodes method and its variations. Norton and Thevenin substitution and superposition theorems.

- Analysis of circuits with ideal diodes.

- I order dynamic circuits: condenser and linear inductors. Mass and/or parallel connection of condensers and inductors. RC and RL I order circuits, etc.

- Introduction to sinusoidal speed: answer of elementary circuits. Phasors and elements of calculus.
Laboratories and/or exercises
Exercises consist in solving problems of analysis of electrical circuits, using methods studied during lectures.
