Objectives of the course
This course focuses on the problems linked to the complexity of the design of contemporary goods in which the sustainable approaches do not refer only to the relationships between antropos-sphere and bios-sphere but to the complex relationships among biosphere, sociosphere and technosphere.
In particular this course imitates the way of working of an industrial design firm that follows up the design research starting from the requests of a company. The same company is really involved in this thematic module.
Because of the complexity of all the factors related to the design, each student will attend a strategic project in order to create not only its material aspects, but also the management of the innovation and communication process, considering the latter as an integrated value of the designed product.
