Objectives of the course
The course furnishes the basic elements for a correct approach to the experimental activities in an electronic laboratory. Several experiments made on simple electronic circuits help to correctly use the main electronic instruments and critically evaluate the measurement results by simple uncertainty evaluations. The laboratory activity is introductory to the subsequent courses of Electronics and Electronic Measurements.

Syllabus
' Main concepts of electrical safety
' Main concepts of the measurement uncertainties and their evaluation
' The principles and how to use the oscilloscope
' The principles and how to use voltmeters and signal generators
Laboratories and/or exercises
' Experiments on waveform measurements by the oscilloscope and signal generators
' Experiments on resistance measurements by volt-amp techniques and by multimeters (two-wire and four wires).
' Linear and non linear resistor characterizations
' Experiments on transfer function measurements vs. frequency on low pass and high pass filters.
