Objectives of the course
The course marks the conclusion of the Course of studies in Planning. It aims at developing and deepening the knowledge and the abilities the student acquired by means of a project experience where the student has to directly coordinate a set of contributions for the analysis of a wide territory, the proposal of possible interventions and the evaluation of their expected effects. The contributions concern Territorial and Landscape Planning (6 credits), the Nature Parks Planning (2), Transport Planning (2), Soil Protection Policies (2), Landscape Analysis and Design (3), Landscape Ecology (2) and Environment Evaluation (2).
Expected skills
- Knowledge and understanding of heterogeneous paradigms (theoretical and applicative aspects), within multidisciplinary contexts to support integrated planning and design in study case.
- Ability to integrate with autonomous research the informative pattern required for the characterization of study case,
- Ability to formulate autonomous judgements reflecting on social responsibilities linked to territorial strategies and policies.
- Ability to communicate projects and the knowledge and rationale underpinning them to specialist and non-specialist audiences clearly and unambiguously.
