Objectives of the course
The course covers multimedia database systems, digital libraries and
analysis techniques for multimedia data. It deals with storage, indexing, and retrieval of large set of textual and visual data. The course also covers the most relevant multimedia data mining techniques. In particular, it deals with the most relevant classification, clustering, and automatic content annotation algorithms in the context of multimedia data mining. |
