Objectives of the course
The course provides basic and advanced concepts on the methods used to design radio networks for any kind of application: radiophone and radiotelevision broadcasting, radiomobile and cellular connectivity, terrestrial and satellite data links, metropolitan wireless networking.
International, European and Italian legislation and technical normative will be analysed.
The last part of the course will be dedicated to the analysis of the electromagnetic compatibility issues involved in radio planning.

Design and validation of a radio network in a geographical region by means of software tools.
Measurement of signal quality on different kinds of radio-services.
Measurement of electromagnetic field for human exposition assessment.
