Aim of the course:
Environmental electromagnetic field in the frequency range up to 100 kHz can be generated by a wide variety of sources with different characteristics . The aim of the course is to provide a useful knowledge for the correct evaluation and measurements of the electric and magnetic fields. Besides fundamental theoretical aspects, the students will acquire some skills in rightly measuring and analysing field signals by an experimental training carried out at INRIM laboratories. Particular attention will be devoted to design of mitigation systems through the use of dedicated numerical codes, which will be illustrated and experienced during the course.
PART ONE: theoretical aspects.
