Subject fundamentals
The course is taught in English.

The course aims at Focusing on some updated and advanced concepts, methodologies, techniques and solutions adopted to improve the Quality of Service (QoS) and dependability of digital systems of various complexities, with particular emphasis on Embedded Systems.
In addition, the course aims at presenting some significant industrial experiences, from both SMEs and biggest players.
Expected learning outcomes
Students will learn how facing and takling problems posed by improving and guaranteeing Quality of Service (QoS) and dependability of digital systems of various complexity, with particular emphasis on Embedded Systems.
They will learn how resorting to team work and group management.
They will also learn how presenting their solutions in effective manners.
Prerequisites / Assumed knowledge
Students are assumed to be familiar with the basic concepts of:
- Digital system architecture
- VHDL-based synthesis
- Digital system testing.
