Subject fundamentals
The course aims at exploring the theme of " Creativity " through different theoretical perspectives and design approaches (cultural studies, media studies, media design studies).

Expected learning outcomes
The course aims to provide students with the theoretical and critical knowledge to understanding how creativity is a strategic asset in any productive activity, cultural and technological innovation.

The course doesn’t require any prerequisites nor assumed knowledge.

Contents
Among the main topics of the course:
- Cultural and creative industry - Audience research - Networked publics - Narratives, digital and transmedia storytelling - What is creativity ? Who are the creatives? |
Delivery modes
The course may include reports, group work and the outside visits.
During the course qualified experts may intervene for specific sectors: mass media, new media and applications in the enterprise. The lessons will be constantly updated and enhanced by projections, films and multimedia products. |
