Contents
Today an architect is also request to manage a stage setting about theatrical production (opera). In fact management about stage setting of an opera is a key step in modern theatrical process.
Promoted and realized in partnership with Fondazione Teatro Regio (Turin), the aim of this Workshop is to introduce students in stage setting, in a real case of an opera project. Specifically, the Workshop will be set with collaboration of architectonic project experts, a teacher of theatrical setting, a teacher of musicology and opera dramaturgy, also with joint in socio-economic studies, aesthetics, and about architectonic project history in its evolutions in centuries. Some lessons will be devoted to scene-technical problems: prospect backdrop design and painting, art of matter effects, transparencies, wave movements: these lessons will take place in Teatro Regio laboratory and students will visit warehouses where are stored historical backdrop. -During the Workshop students will learn about: - organization and distribution in architectural theatre plants. - history and evolution in theatrical settings - history of aesthetics and musical dramaturgy - technical elements in projecting in opera setting |
