Objectives of the course
This course gives students economics and environmental knowledge, that enable them to interact with economists and to understand planning documents.
Expected skills
Expected skills:

- read and understand documents of economy on territory, environment and environmental projects

- write short papers on economic-territorial topics

- solve simple economy problems in urban, environmental and project fields.
No specific knowledge is required.
Targets of MODULE 1: give basic principles and instruments of microeconomics; contents: markets, externality, public goods, policy

Targets of MODULE 2: give specific instruments to understand urban economics; contents: theory of agglomeration, interaction, nets, urban revenue, tax regulation

Targets of MODULE 3: give a widespread knowledge of the main environmental problems and related policies; contents: command/control policy; tax regulation and subsidization, environmental titles, volunteers.
Laboratories and/or exercises
Some exercises on local environmental/territorial planning will be arranged.
