Subject fundamentals
The course will provide a general introduction to the theory of scientific and common reasoning, with special application to the solution of resistant problems, such as paradoxes, and dilemmas.
The first part of the course will be devoted to a general presentation of the theory of reasoning (deduction, induction, non-classical logics, non-conventional arguments). The second part will be devoted to the analysis and solution of some of the most puzzling paradoxes and irreducible dilemmas of contemporary philosophical debate.
