Assessment and grading criteria
1. The exam consists of a written exam lasting three hours devided in to two parts (Electrical engineering and electronics 90minutes each): questions and exercises.
a. The two parts are separately graded and the exam result is the average of the two evaluations
b. In case of failing of one of the two parts, the candidate must repeat only the failed part (in this case, the time available is 90 minutes)
c. During the written exam is allowed to use a calculator, but it is not allowed to consult notes or books (except for a limited furmulario of Electronics)
d. It is possible to withdraw without prejudice of participation to the next exam session. The withdrawal of one of the two parts does not prejudice the evaluation of the other.
e. It is token under consideration only the last grading

2. after the written exam, the candidate can take vision of the graded written exam, and the student have the possibility to get a supplementary oral exam
a. The written exam can be viewed but it must be returned
b. The supplementary oral exam, up on the request of the student, can correct the result of the written exams improving/worsening the grade of the written exam.
c. The oral exam is conducted jointly and covers both parts of the course
d. It is possible to delegate another person to record the grade, as long as he presents the Politecnico ID card.
e. The delegate is not, however, allowed to view the graded written exams

Experimental Laboratory in Electrical Engineering:
-Optional activity that in case of positive results it yields 1 extra point (max 2 extra points if the relation is judged excellent)

Extra points during the ongoing course in Electronics:
-oral questions in class
-in the absence of extra points and oral exam in Electronics the maximum grade achievable in Electronics is 27/30

60% Electrical engineering
40% Electronics
