Objectives of the course
Objectives of the course
 The course provides students with a basic culture on fundamentals of Electromagnetism and Wave phenomena, together with the ability of distinguishing between models and phenomena, and of applying physical models and mathematical concepts to practical problems in engineering science.  
Prerequisites
Prerequisites
It is necessary to know and to be able to apply:  the vector analysis;  the differential and integral calculus (including line, surface and volume integrals);  the subjects and the methods introduced in the course of Physics 1.
