Subject fundamentals
The Final examination of the Bachelor of Science in Territorial, urban, environmental and landscape planning is an opportunity in which individual students are required to develop an activity that allows them to use the knowledge and skills acquired in the three-year period and to demonstrate ability to organize independently a research path. It does not require a particular originality.
It consists in the preparation of a report that explores a disciplinary theme chosen from the internship experience, which is mandatory.
For each student a Tutor for the final examination is provided, who, in general, coincides with the internship tutor and is chosen by the teacher responsible of internships.
The candidate prepares the report under the guidance of his/her tutor and presents it to the committee for discussion.
The contents of the written report:
- the subject of study chosen and the reasons for its selection
- development of the theme, deepening some aspects that refer to the disciplinary and technical subjects addressed during the three-years study period or to significant case studies,
- sources and references.
The report may possibly be written in English.

Students must make the request in on-line mode through a special procedure available in their personal page in the section entitled "Request for Final Examination", respecting the deadlines for published in the Manifesto of the studies (see note *).
At the conclusion of the work, the approval of the tutor, along with passing all the exams, allow the student participation in the public discussion session, after which the proclamation will take place.
