Final exam

The final exam is an important formative moment of the MSc and consists of a thesis that gives the student the opportunity to investigate a problem in depth under the guidance of a supervisor. The activities concerning the thesis normally require the application of lessons learned in several courses and ateliers, integration with additional elements and the ability to propose innovative ideas. Students are offered an alternative: developing a theoretical thesis with the goal of heightened understanding of specific features, or dissertation more related to professional practice connected to an internship period..
The presentation and discussion of the thesis takes place in front of a special committee. The student must demonstrate ability to work independently, mastering the topics discussed and the ability to communicate the content and synthesis to support an argument.
The thesis can possibly be drawn up and submitted in English. Allocation method and details of the final examination are specified in the regulation of teaching degree course.
