Thesis type EXPERIMENTAL AND SIMULATION
Description In this research activity, ultrasonic fatigue tests will be carried out to investigate the fatigue response of composite materials at a very high number of cycles (VHCF region). The student will be responsible for the production of the specimens, their design and subsequent experimental tests.
The research activity also includes finite element simulations for the design of the specimens and for the evaluation of the stress distribution within them.
