Description The goal of the master internship is to evaluate the feasibility of ceramic proton conducting cell industrialisation. This work is split into three main lines:
- evaluation of the most promising ceramic proton conducting cell architectures and materials through an exhaustive bibliographic research;
- experimental preparation of small and large area cell prototypes using laboratory and industrial equipment, refining vehicle composition and materials type and morhology;
- physico-chemical and electrochemical cell characterisation, to refine the concept design with further benchmarking it to a state-of-the-art solid oxide cell.
At the end of the internship, a valuable information will be collected on the status of ceramic proton conducting technology maturity and its manufacturability, in particular prior to its adoption by the industry.
