Description Surface integral equations have emerged as the dominant technology for electromagnetic modeling of large and complex structures such as naval, aerospace, and satellite. However, heavy computational requirements are currently present for the solution of such surface-integral equations.
In this thesis a novel numerical approach based on domain decomposition techniques and Huygens’ surfaces is investigated in order to improve the numerical solution of large multi-scale structures, reducing memory and computational time requirements.
The Thesis will be in collaboration with Prof. Z. Peng, University of Illinois, Urbana, US, https://ece.illinois.edu/about/directory/faculty/zvpeng
