Thesis type EXPERIMENTAL
Description Goal of the project is to develop a mobile app + backend to support people in having a healthy lifestyle. The mobile app collects (directly or using wearable devices) information about a person's life: physical status and activity (walking running and any physical activity, heart rate, pressure, sleeping times etc), nutrition (type and quantity of food eaten). Starting from the data collected and using predefined patterns the app proposes recommendations to improve the lifestyle. The effect of recommendations is monitored in ters of changes to the lifestyle, in function of changes recommendations are recomputed.
The back end side of the app collects, anonymously, data about all users, analyses them via statistic and machine learning models, in order to build models to characterize and predict the effects of behaviours and recommendations.
At start recommendations are derived from the existing scientific literature about aging and well being (ex Fontana L., The path to longevity). On the long run the data collected and analysed is used to further validate and improve the recommendations, and the models they are built on.
This project is developed with University of Sydney and Azienda Ospedaliera Verona.
