Description Wireless networks have become an essential part of our daily lives, with applications ranging from Internet connectivity to smart devices and sensor networks. Simulating wireless networks is a critical aspect of developing and testing new protocols, algorithms, and applications. Mininet-WiFi [1] is an
extension of Mininet, a network emulation platform that allows for realistic wireless network simulations. The objective of this thesis is to study Mininet-WiFi [1] and develop a framework for its optimized distribution, enabling users to run wireless network simulations on a cluster of computers or cloud resources. The optimized distribution will involve configuring virtualized resources to maximize simulation performance while minimizing processing costs.

The thesis work will include the following steps:
1. In-depth study of Mininet-WiFi and wireless network emulation technologies.
2. Design and development of a distribution system for Mininet-WiFi that maximizes available resources.
3. Performance evaluation of the distributed system in terms of scalability and simulation execution speed.
4. Optimization of parameters and resources to achieve realistic and accurate simulations.
5. Application of the implementation in a real scenario with the combination of simulated and real nodes.
