Description Bosco Elettronica is a company in Torino that is developing a novel biomedical simulator. The simulator is able to reproduce a human body condition and allows the fellows and the trainers to perform real-life exercise on a 3D printed anatomy by reproducing:
- Anatomical structures
- Tactile feedback on human tissues
- Basic ECG signals and related position in the environment
During the thesis, the student will design and develop novel hardware/software functionalities to improve and enhance the simulator according to new requirements. The student will work in a team. The projects is under development and constantly updated, contact us for more details.
Required skills:
- Design and test PCB boards for biomedical applications
- Design, develop and test firmware for embedded systems in biomedical applications
- Understand new technical requirements, discussing and proposing possible solutions
- Maintenance and continuous improvement of existing and new products.
Desirable skills:
- Basic anatomy knowledge of the human body
- 3D printing knowledge is a plus
- 3D modelling of STL file is an appreciated skill
Participate to a full product development cycle contributing to one or more tasks related to sensor device selection and characterization
Required skills -Good knowledge in software development: Python, C, C++, Linux
-Versioning tools: Github
-Digital communication protocols: UART, SPI, I2C
-Competence in writing documentation, technical specifications, algorithms, and procedures regarding product development and validation
