Thesis type MASTER THESIS
Description The proposed master’s thesis aims to analyze the hydrodynamic interactions between wave energy converters (WECs) and investigate the feasibility of using simplified mathematical models for control algorithm development. Specifically, the study will focus on the interactions that arise among WEC devices due to their wave generation effects. The analysis will primarily utilize a simplified mathematical model, such as the Boundary Element Method (BEM), which has been validated in previous studies. This model will allow for the accurate representation of hydrodynamic phenomena, enabling the generation of models suitable for control algorithm implementation.
