Description CuOx or CuMOx (M= Sn, Sb...) can be synthesized through electrodeposition and microwave-assisted route. These materials are highly potential for the CO2 reduction reactions. Tuning their structure and composition can easily change the selectivity of the CO2 reduction reaction.
In addition to synthesis, also electrochemical characterizations will be carried out. Electrochemical characterizations, such as cyclic voltammetry, chronoamperometric tests and so on, are very powerful in evaluating the activity and stability of electrochemical materials. Cyclic voltammetry can define the redox reactions in the electrolyte or on the electrode. It can also find the onset potential and kinetic for the reactions in order to measure the activity of the electrode. Chronoamperometric measurements can directly give us information on the stability of electrode or electrolyte materials.
