Fabrication and testing of energy harvesting devices with 3D printing and classical techniques for biomedical and mechanical applications

keywords 3D PRINTING, ENERGY HARVESTING, PIEZOELECTRICITY, TRIBOELECTRIC

Reference persons VALENTINA ALICE CAUDA, STEFANO STASSI

Research Groups AA - Materials and Processes for Micro and Nano Technologies

Thesis type EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH

Description The thesis foresee the development of classical fabrization techniques and 3D priting to fabricate a device for energy harvesting frommechanical movements and vibrations. Both triboelectric and piezoelectric effects will be exploited to recover energy from environmet and human motions. A final device will be produced adn fully tests to evalaute the performaces.
