Description Work will be carried out on the characterization of aluminum alloy sheets of the 5000 and 6000 series, for applications in the manufacture of car bodies, by means of bending and hole expansion tests, aimed in particular at examining the problem of cracks forming on the sheet edges.
The experimental activities will take place at the FIAT Research Center (CRF), at the Mirafiori site (Corso Luigi Settembrini 40, Turin). The thesis could also be carried out together with an internship of similar or related topic, carried out at the same company and headquarters.
