Description Study and characterization of composite coatings composed of a glass/ceramic matrix with silver nanoclusters, well Dispersed within the matrix, to impart antimicrobial properties to materials. The coating is deposited via co-sputtering on substrates used as models or for applications such as air filters and is characterized from morphological, compositional, structural, and antibacterial perspectives. The study also extends to the corresponding coatings produced using industrial-scale equipment for upscaling purposes.
