Description Carbon dots are known as one of the few objects able to get through the blood-brain-barrier. In the present work a new type of carbon dot will be developed and thoroughly characterized in view of its application in biology.
The work will be carried out in the laboratories of the University of Miami and in those of Politecnico di Torino
