Descrizione Smart contracts are a key element of blockchain technology, as they trigger transactions, when given conditions occur. A second key element, which is usually less considered, is the oracle, a service which is able to read information from the external word and injects data in the blockchain.
This thesis aims at investigating oracles, in order to identify best practices to compare existing oracles or to directly code them. To achieve this task, the student will develop a prototype (a parametric insurance policy). In particular, the thesis student will develop the insurance smart contract(s) and will link them to one or more (existing or developed) oracles.
