Thesis type THESIS WITH A COMPANY
Description In recent years, in-car technology has evolved from traditional electrical and mechanical devices to highly complex hardware-software systems. Infotainment systems, which incorporate mechanisms for user interaction, navigation, and management of information collected by the sensors in the car, are also very important. The high complexity of these systems requires rigorous testing and validation of hardware and software to demonstrate their compatibility with functional requirements and non-functional qualities (such as usability or security) required by the sector.
Several testing platforms have been developed in the environment, aimed at automating the validation processes of the solutions, especially when advanced devices are involved.
This thesis involves the design, integration and extension of test automation platforms developed within a regional automotive company.
The activities of the thesis will be conducted within an industrial context.
