Description Description: Object-oriented programming (OOP) is a fundamental concept in computer science, but it can be challenging for beginner students to grasp. Understanding the core concepts often requires an interactive and engaging approach to solidify their learning. In response to this need, the use of serious games, such as escape rooms and puzzle games, has emerged as a promising pedagogical strategy to enhance student learning in object-oriented programming courses.

The main objective of this thesis is to develop an innovative serious game, based on an engaging narrative setting and a well-defined theme, to promote effective learning of object-oriented programming. Additionally, this research aims to integrate the serious game into the object-oriented programming course teaching environment, assessing its impact on student learning and collecting feedback to evaluate the effectiveness and user experience (UX) of the game as an educational tool.
