Description The urbanisation rate is constantly growing, although the urban environments are exposed to several environmental risks, including climate change. Considering this background, it is essential to develop new solutions able to evaluate the impact of potential environmental risks and optimise design solutions to improve the resilience to climate changes, including advanced simulations considering future climate files and the impact of the urban context (urban heat island) and/or greenery.
Development of grasshopper components to define a Grasshopper GUI able to integrate CAD models with initial energyplus models via Honeybee and further manage the automatic run, eventually incorporating a new Python platform supporting energyplus and monitored data. The scope is to develop Grasshopper scripts able to optimise building design choices (or building management choices), including the urban dimension and the impact on the urban heat island effect to improve climate change resilience. The project is part of the edu activities of a PRIN PNRR project and/or an H2020 project (PRELUDE).

Required skills good predisposition to acquire additional knowledge including grasshopper and or simple python coding
