Description Recently, both Android Auto and CarPlay have implemented the possibility to perform payments directly from within the vehicle. Hence, the scope of the thesis is to explore this new added capability and develop a solution for payment to be compatible with either or both platforms.
The candidate will be required to:
1. Design and develop a test application for the management of payments
2. Design and develop a mock interface to display the end-to-end functionalities
3. Analyze the business opportunities offered by this technology
The thesis will be supported by Concept Engineering Reply (https://www.reply.com/concept-reply), the company within the Reply Group specializing in digitizing and making the physical world smart through the development of IoT solutions applied to products, processes, and services. Concept Engineering relies on a group of experts in the fields of embedded systems (hardware and firmware), edge computing, IoT platforms, cloud computing, user channels, AI, ML, project management and PMO.
The target markets include automotive (and transportation in a broad sense), manufacturing, telco & media, insurance & finance, and medical. Additionally, an essential component of Concept Engineering is research and development, which aims to explore new technological frontiers to generate innovation.

Required skills Kotlin (Android) or Swift (iOS) for the app, JS, Java or other for the mock interface
