Description Target tracking represent an image processing technique used to identify the same object of interest throughout a video sequence. Infrared cameras are typically used when particular environmental situations occurs, e.g. in case of fog and night vision. Typical use cases concern (but are not limited to) surveillance, robotic vision and other critical applications. The scope of this thesis is to analyze, design and implement target tracking algorithms to improve robustness and/or speed of the system.
