Leonardo SpA is a provider of global security and advanced technology systems for applications in the aerospace, defense and security sectors. The company designs, develops, manufactures, and delivers helicopters, defense electronics and aerostructures. It also delivers satellites, orbiting manned infrastructures, apart from providing space related services such as earth observation from space, and satellite navigation and communication.
Leonardo has established the Leonardo Labs, an international network of corporate laboratories dedicated to advanced research and technological innovation (see link below). Within these labs, theses are available for M.Sc. students in the field of information and communication technologies, on the topics of satellite imaging and image processing/analysis.
