Descrizione Despite their large role in energy demand at the global level, minor industrial sectors are almost never reported in detail in macro-scale models, usually characterized by a high level of disaggregation in the description of energy-intensive technologies. Indeed, their role in the energy system is just described through generic trends for energy demand, that does not allow a precise analysis of their role in the clean energy transition. The aim of this thesis is to develop a detailed scheme of the current final energy demand breakdown in such production sectors for Piedmont, with consequent implementation and testing of the new modules in the TEMOA-Piedmont model, currently under development in the MAHTEP Group.
