Description Application of innovative design tools to design SMR. Main aspects to be investigated are: reactor operations (neutronics, fuel management and burnup), thermal-hydraulics and thermo-mechanics. Optimization codes may be used during the analysis to improve reactor performance. All the tools are written in python. Prior knowledge of python or object-oriented programming is suggested, but not mandatory.
