Thesis type EXPERIMENTAL - DESIGN
Description Three-phase brushless motors are driven by devices called Electronic Speed Controllers (ESC). The objective of this thesis is to develop an ESC prototype, designed for marine applications, starting from a family of application-specific microcontrollers. The project includes system design, firmware development, implementation of various sensors, and creation of a printed circuit board. The prototype will be tested and mounted on one of the ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles) of the PoliTOcean student team.
