Descrizione During the design and test phases, engineers need to perform extensive experimental and simulation campaigns of the objective varying many design parameters. To alleviate the experimental and computation burden, surrogate model(1) are often used, as a way to approximate the outcome of interest as a function of the design parameters. This thesis aims at expanding a technique, recently developed to hybridize measured data and simulations(2), in order to build surrogate models specifically tailored for the problem of interest.

Conoscenze richieste - MS students in Telecommunication Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent
- Experience with main programming languages (Matlab /Fortran/C/C++)
- Basic knowledge of EM fields
- Good knowledge of linear algebra and linear systems
Note Expected duration: 6 months.
The thesis will be developed at Istituto Superiore Mario Boella, Antenna and EMC Lab.
