Thesis type EXPERIMENTAL

Description Aim of this work is to record electrical signals through a multi-channel electrophysiology biosensor (developed in out University) and then to apply advanced data mining techniques to characterize the signals and develop classification models of specific plant stimuli.
First results show that plant electrophysiology clearly identify the state of the plant and can hence provide useful information to growers.
Open option (to be discussed): we're getting in contact with a Cancer Research Center in Lugano (CHE) to apply the same principle to tumors.
