Description The objective of the thesis is to develop a strategy for energy optimization in 3D graphics applications running on mobile devices. The student will use, assess and refine a prototypal power-aware 3D graphics library based on OpenGL ES capable to generate the power-consumption profile of a 3D application at run-time. The effectiveness of the devised optimization strategy will be tested with 3D games that are already available as well as with new games that are expected to be developed during the thesis.
