Description A 4 Wheel Drive Hybrid (4WD-H) powertrain is to be developed and installed on a first generation Panda. The soltution features a front axle driven by a combustion engine and a rear axle driven by an electric motor. An additional electric motor is installed on the combustion engine belt drive. A low energy and high power battery pack completed the solution. Such a layout is basically the same one characterising premium luxury or sport cars like Lexus NX or MacLaren GTX but implemented on a iconic vehicle for essentiality and robustness as the original Panda designed by Giorgio Giugiaro.
