Description The aim of the thesis is to develop a techno-economic characterization of nuclear fuel cycle for Generation IV and fusion reactors and an update of the existing characterization in the EUROfusion TIMES Model (ETM). Their possible role in the future energy mix will be studied through ESOMs, such as the ETM and TEMOA-Europe.
Required skills Attendance of the course "Models and scenarios for energy planning". Enrolment in the "Sustainable nuclear" track of the M.Sc. program "Energy and nuclear engineering".
