Description The candidate is required to develop the electronic of an aquaponics system. In particular, the system is composed by multiple custom PCBs connected together through a serial protocol. Each PCB is dedicated to a part of the system, namely, the fish tank, the plant growing unit, and a main central unit. The latter is used to monitor data from different sensor and send command to the subsystems. The two subsystems actuate motors and relays in order to automatically control the functionalities of the grow unit.

The candidate will work with an external company, for the decision of the specification and the design of the PCBs. The final prototype will be assembled after the design phase and the expected output is a functional prototype.

Required skills Electronic circuit design and microcontroller programming.
