Description Containerized systems, together with the use of cloud, represent a new paradigm for development and deployment of applications. Although these systems are advantageous in terms of scalability, management and compatibility, the infrastructures on which they are based, and the applications themselves cannot be considered "secure by default". The goal of the thesis is to study the security of containerized systems and cloud infrastructures by making experiments and proofs of concept about the use of the related technologies and tools. The thesis will be developed within an internship in the Blue Reply company and it will focus on one of the following two specific aspects:
1. Security of applications based on Docker and Kubernetes
2. Security as Code (SaC), considering specifically the AWS and Azure cloud environments, and the related tools available on the market.
More specific goals will be discussed with the candidate.
