Description The activities of this thesis are in the e-voting domain and, in particular, inserted in the Eleweb platform. Eleweb is a web application for online voting, customizable for creating and managing different types of e-voting, from referenda to elections for professional societies.
The goal of the thesis is to design and develop the next version of the user interface (and the related workflow) for the platform, so that it can support more and diverse kind of electoral events and users. The thesis, indeed, will focus on the creation of a set of flexible and adaptable user interfaces through the application of state-of-the-art methods and techniques related to User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX). The aim is to ease the interaction between the user and the platform, preventing any misunderstanding of the pages by several kinds of desktop and mobile users.
Required skills Web programming (responsive) and knowledge about designing usable user interfaces. Basic skills with SQL and databases.
Notes The company is planning to give a small scholarship for this thesis.
