Description The activities of this thesis are in the e-democracy domain and, in particular, around the Eleweb platform. Eleweb is a web application for online voting, customizable for creating and managing different types of e-voting, from referenda to voting for approving budgets.
Eleweb will integrate the management of the active participation of the citizenship in the public administration. The platform would allow to promote projects, to anonymously vote budget proposals, to create and sign petitions, to report issues to the municipalities, etc.
The goal of the thesis is to design and develop a user interface for allowing the platform to fully support such functions. The thesis, indeed, will focus on the creation of a flexible and adaptable user interface through the application of state-of-the-art methods and techniques related to User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX). The aim is to ease the interaction between the user and the platform, preventing any misunderstanding of the pages by several kinds of desktop and mobile users.
Required skills Web programming (responsive) and knowledge about designing usable user interfaces. Basic skills with SQL and databases.
Notes The company is planning to give a small scholarship for this thesis.
