Description The aim is to analyse the mechanical and hydraulic behaviour of dam and embankments of river detention basin located during the testing tests. The works, object of the study, are already realized and monitored with a diffused system of instrumentation with continuous acquisitions. The study therefore intents to compare the results obtained by numerical analysis to simulate the hydraulic action on embankments and dam with those one recorded by the monitoring system during the testing tests. This process makes it possible to identify possible critical conditions and specific situation that need to be resolved.
